History of NADS

National Association of Diploma Students' (NADS) is an association set up to cater for the welfare of the Diploma Students. It was formed by the joint effort of the Class Representatives of the then Four Departments which comprises of Accounting and Data Processing, Money and Banking, Social Administration and Administrative Management around 1999/2000.
The Constitution, Logo, Motto and acronym of the association were jointly decided and elective posts were listed and election to this posts took place by the entire students.

Moshood Abiola Popoola is our Site Administrator. He loves to be up-to-date and welcomes new ideals.

Aims and Objectives

The association shall strive to achieve the following aims and objectives:

  1. To express the position and solidarity of the rank of its members on issues affecting them and clarify various points that often lead to crisis or misconceptions.
  2. To promote unity, mutual understanding and educational awareness among its members and as well provide forum for exchange of ideals between its members and the outside world.
  3. To ease the flow – down of information gap between the students and the administration.
  4. To seek the academic welfare of members and to resolves issues of common interest within and outside the university.
  5. To carry out other activities that may be conducive and not inconsistent with objectives of the constitution.

In these regard, the rank and file of Diploma Students’ movement will not yield to any form of diversionary tactics and blackmail.
